I was creating some automated email responders for my business and I thought I had some pretty good subject lines.
Like many things, I felt the strong desire to just be done with it. There! I worked on this for a few hours, that’s it I can move on.
Unsure of whether I was hitting the right tone with the subject lines, I decided to leave it. I came back the next day and it was clear to me what they needed to be (less playful and more clear about what the email had in it).
If there isn’t a great rush for micro decisions like this, I think giving it a night will make it clear.
