Sad Walk vs Energised Walk

Share the Post:

Depending on the time of day I’ll do one of the two. By ‘sad walk’ I just mean I’ve got a big jacket on, I’m hunched over to try avoid the cold and my air pods close me off from the world.

These usually happen at around 3pm. That’s the time I decide I need to get out of the house.

How different to the energised walk of the mornings. The air is fresh, my eyes are becoming more and more awake and my face is open to the incoming possibility of the day.

In theory there shouldn’t be a difference, a walk is a walk.

But for some reason I’ll accidentally have a sad walk when what I really need is to look up, open up, SMILE and have myself an energised 3pm walk!

You do get to choose after all.
