I’m in rehearsal for a musical and I’m enjoying being part of a large company of diverse talent. I’m mainly doing scenes, but among my peers we have dancers, singers, actors, directors, lighting, sound, management team… it’s pretty incredible to watch such high performers working at their best. I’m relishing the routine of being in a rehearsal room!

I’m workshopping a new musical at the moment an having a GREAT time. The workshopping process for actors is juicy work: we get to use all our skills to generate, solve and create a new work. If rehearsals were getting out your one good screw driver each day, the workshop process is throwing open the garage door and playing with all the tools you’ve ever collected and sharing them with like-minded enthusiasts!

We’re kicking off the 2026 US tour of Mrs Krishnan’s Party in St. Louis Missouri. It’s fun to be on the road again and revisting the show after 7 months or so. I’m in the process of editing and finalasing the product update for Online Kapa Haka and we’re welcoming new schools to join us at the end of feb!

I’m on the home stretch of the biggest product update since I started the business- the end of a two year journey! I’m with family near water and enjoying the kiwi summer. 

I’m thinking a lot about what I want for 2026, looking at how this year has gone for my mahi and considering what adjustments I will make. A question that is really guiding me is this:

“Does the means match the end?” said another way, “Does the thing I’m doing now match the thing I eventually want to do?”

I’m back home in Auckland and deeply enjoying settling into one place. After five months on the road it’s nice to wear clothes not directly from a suitcase. I’m working on a new product update for my business and making a film every day.

I’m in London about to begin a holiday in Europe! I’m enjoying catching up with friends who have moved here; I get to experience a real life version of London through their eyes.

I’m on the US tour of Mrs Krishnan’s Party. I’m enjoying the routine of exercising and working on the business during the days and heading in to do the show in the evenings.

I’m in New york city seeing shows for a bit before heading on a US tour of Mrs Krishnan’s party.

I’m also really enjoying creating short films and clips and posting them on my tik tok. There is a lot of ideas flying my way because I’m in a new environment.
